Data Deletion

How businesses and individuals can request deletion of information handled through Sendro.

Last updated: 23 October 2026 · Instructions for privacy and data-deletion requests.

1. How to request deletion or exercise a privacy right

To request deletion of personal information handled by Sendro, email georgoulasgeo@gmail.com with subject Sendro privacy request. You may also contact the business with which you communicated through WhatsApp or another enabled channel. That business ordinarily determines the purposes for its customer messages and is the controller of that information. Sendro will direct relevant processor requests to the responsible business and assist it under lawful documented instructions. If the request concerns Sendro's own website or service-account information, Sendro will review it directly.

This is an email-based request process; it is not a self-service or instant automated erasure endpoint.

2. Information we need

Please state the business or Sendro account involved, if known; the privacy right you wish to exercise; and a safe way for us to contact you. Do not send passwords, tokens, large copies of private conversations or identity documents by ordinary email. We may ask for limited additional details only where needed to locate information or verify that a request is authorized.

3. How a request is assessed

The relevant controller reviews your request, verifies identity when proportionate, identifies information that is within its control, checks applicable GDPR conditions or permitted legal retention exceptions, and determines the appropriate response. When Sendro acts as a processor, it assists that controller with the information and facilities available under its documented instructions.

Deleting an inbox conversation is not necessarily complete GDPR erasure. Related bulk-send history, media, security records, backups and independently held third-party platform data may need separate consideration. Marking a privacy case as completed does not automatically erase all those records.

4. Response timing and backup records

Under the GDPR, controllers generally respond without undue delay and ordinarily within one month of receiving a valid request, with lawful extensions or exceptions where applicable. Requests for erasure are assessed against applicable legal conditions; some records may have to be retained or restricted for lawful reasons.

Restoration backups and downloaded exports require separate security and retention handling. Information that has already been properly erased from operational systems may be present in older recovery snapshots for a limited, applicable recovery period, subject to appropriate controls and treatment following restoration. We will not claim that all backup copies are instantly deleted.

5. Independent Meta and messaging platforms

A business may communicate with customers through Meta/WhatsApp and, when enabled, Instagram. Such platforms may separately hold data outside Sendro. A deletion made within Sendro does not automatically delete independent copies maintained by Meta, the business, a customer's device or other third parties. Please also contact the relevant business or platform directly when appropriate.

6. Further assistance and complaints

For help with a request or identifying the relevant controller, contact georgoulasgeo@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority or the competent supervisory authority. This page describes the actual manual request channel and does not claim that automatic 12-month deletion has already been enabled.
